Ok pretty much evertime i ask i get pointed to matrix infinity. Whats the big difference between regular and home brew? and i am going to buy a premod here soon and found the place i planned on getting it from doesn't sell regular PS2's anymore. I would like to find a good place to get a PS2 with a Matrix installed with network adapter? anyone know a good place? had good times buying one yourself? Just wanting to get the best deal/shipping and everything and don't want to get screwed over. I started to read through the buy/sell/trade section and it wasn't much help.

There are no big difference. They're all pretty much the same. But the reason why I would choose an Infinity over another chip is because of the team's exellent support. You won't be screwed over if you choose an Infinity.

Homebrew is the same crap, they just don't flash the chip with a firmware capable of booting backups and you have to go download and flash your chip with the hacked firmware. Something like what xbox people are doing.
