Need Help w/DVD movie Choppiness w/HK Messiah 2 –

Well, i have installed some HK messiah 2's from console source.com (btw, these are clones not REAL M2's that they advertise, so use caution when buying from them), All the PS2 & PSX backup and originals boot fine. Only problem is DVD movie playback, Orig & backups, are choopy. This is installed in 2 USA V7 machines straight out of the box.
Anyone have any thoughts? I will try a 1uf 50v capacitor in the SCEx line tonight and see if it solves the prob. Might also try a switch to turn the mod completely off but i don't know where to install it on. Tried to cross referance the Magic 3 diagram but it isn't the same for HK messiah 2 clone. Which main wires need to be disconnected to turn off the mod? I know that it isn't safe just to disconnect the power wire.
Hope someone can lend a helping hand.
Thanks.

Well, i have installed a 1uf 50v capacitor inline with SCEx and the choppiness disappeared. Used the FAQ from charlie_ps2 on installing one from Magic2/Apple/Messiah guide. + to the chip and - to the board. Everything is intack. Gonna do somemore extensive testing (watch a movie + play about 1hr worth of a game) to see if it holds up.
I learn something new everyday. Thanks charlie_ps2 for your previous work and posting your results.
