need help with ripper 2 gold.

Hi all.

Not very often I post here, IÂ´m normally more of a reader :-) My very old ps2 died last week, so I just got a new (used) ps2 with a ripper 2 gold chip inside. Problem is I canÂ´t find much info. on this chip. It seems to work ok, but What about that "triangle" on startup? I tried to install dms explorer on it, and the browser option does appear on startup, but only black screen when I run it. Is there any way I could add more progs to the menu? I would like to add HD-Loader (yes I do have an original disc). I think it is possible to install new programs with "start", but I donÂ´t know how. What about toxis os? would that work? Any other links / help much appreciated. Pls donÂ´t flame me if it is not allowed to ask about the ripper chip.
