need help re-modding my PAL PS2

i've got a PAL PS2 set, SCPH -30004R and it has a magic 3 mod chip installed. problem is (and i thin ou all know by now) this chip is giving me problems with DVDr versions of Kingdom Hearts. FFX and GTA: Vice City. anybody can recommend me any mod chips to use for my re-mod or if there is anyway i can solve the magic 3 problem.

i'm from singapore and i have heard of the anti freeze chip and using a switch to solve the problem but i am ot too sure of any shops here that do it. any singaporeans care to shed some light?

i surgest trying either a messiah2 or apple2 maybe the apple2 chip is int your price range

apple 2? which clone is that and how much does it cost? or would u recommend that i just install a switch?

hmmm thats one option im considerin. but replacin the mod chip is kinda ex. i was thinkin of just adding a switch but will it really help?

Adding a switch will be more difficult than changing a couple of wires for the Apple 2 or Messiah 2.
