Need help please read this!!!!

Hi Guys

Have put in a new laser in my PSTwo machine today and when i try to start up the machine the laserplate = the thing the laser is stuck on moves but no red in the laser so it can read the cd and the spindle motor dont move at all...

Tryed out my bad laser and all working but it cant read yhe cd but it spinning up and the red light in the laser...

What can be wrong??????

Hope the company i have order this laser from give me a new one if its faulty.


Did find the fault....Did forget to solder off the protection from the laser
