Need help...This may of been answered before

I have a Version 5 American PS2 with a Non-Red Magic Chip 2. The chip was professionally put in (www.freedomlives.com) and he did a quick and awsome job on it. The GS/AR wire was installed and here is my question. I have heard mixed answers to this question. I own a GS2 version 2 and I cannot get it to work with my games. It gets stuck on the Loading game screen. I have tried many times to no luck. Then i heard that version 2 would not work and to try Version 1.9. So i got the version 1.9 and tried that. Same problem. It fails only on DVD-R's and CDR's, it works fine with originals. So is it possible for my version of the Magic chip2 to be able to use a GS2 on it? if so how? IF that does not work can i use a pelican CB? Please help.

I have used AR2/v2 (same as GS2/v2) with Magic 2 Clone on v7 US PS2. GTA3 (DVD-R) works with codes behind AR2/v2. The GS/AR wire on the clone should not be installed.

if you have the yellow PCB with underline, then by all means install Z; if not do not install Z wire.

That is the one i have and the Z wire is installed, But still no luck. If anyone knows how to fix this, if possible, please let me know. I so not want to have to buy a new code device.
