I got it installed a day or 2 ago. And when i play agame after leaving the ps2 off a while, it would just go the red screen and say insert ps2 game.
Well i ignored it for a day, but now it just doesnt seem to boot a dvd-r. It keeps going to the red screen no matter howmany times i reset it.
It playes origanls fine. The installer of the chip is realy nice and told me to bring it back and he'll go over the install but i am just wondering if the chip is in sleep mode that it doesnt boot or am i doing something wrong.
thanks for the help guys.

hmm it could be your backup, i know from experience people telling me their backups wont load. Well i tell them to burn at 1speed, then it works. Its been a well known fact for awhile now that slow burning is really the best. Also the brand media you use makes a huge difference. Ritek media has been the #1 brand for as long as i can remember.
