NEED HELP from EXPERTS

I have installed a messiah 2 PRO v.1.22a on my UK PAL v.4 no-gap PS2. I have reassembled it, and when i turn it on, it goes to the reset button goes to 'red' as usual, then when I press reset again it seems to load the disk (timesplitters 2 original), and the reset button goes from 'red' to 'green', and the eject button goes from nothing to 'blue'.
My problem is, that there is no picture. None at all. There is also no sound. I have tried both scart connections and rf connections to 2 different t.v.'s, and nothing changes. What do I need to do to get it to work? Is there a check I can make to see if the chip is actually working without seeing a picture (or is it not working because i cant see anything?)? I'd really appreciate some help, or someone I can send my PS2 to to fix (within the midlands in the UK). Thanks a lot for any replies.

If you soldered to the CD/DVD controller (PINS B C D I H G) then you have to check those points with a magnifyer for a bridge and BIOS connections too.
