I was soldering my chip on, and i was dumb enough to pull part of the resistor right off the board. The resistor/fuse has been checked with a multimeter and i'm fairly sure its still okay - but i no longer have anything to solder the 3v3 to.

v12 ps2 GH-035 board with the subzero fix installed already
the 3v3 point i already tried is on this diagram

here is what the connection now looks like.

Notice the white where i pulled out part of the metal peice, and the melted flux and plastic around it as a result of me trying to fix it.

I was wondering if i blew the resistor/fuse (which i dont think because the track is running under it) and if not could someone point out which side of the track there i can solder it to, or an alternate spot.

Any of the points in red will work fine. Sounds like you're keeping your soldering iron on the points for too long, and putting too much pressure on it.

Tip: Set the multimeter to measure resistance Ω at 20k - if it measures 0 between 2 points, you can use it as an alt.

thank you VERY much, ill tell you if it works

before this i was getting a problem where my ps2 would turn on for a second than go back to standby (sometimes it would go on but the disc assembly would do nothing)
i had bridged the connection there though hopefully this will work.

EDIT: ****... i just realized that that was a fuse >_< can someone look at my picture and tell me if i destoryed it? and if so what do i look for for buying a new one/replacing it

EDIT2: okay so i resoldered the power to the other 3v3 spot, on the 0 fuse.
now my 202 fuse is blown, what should i do?
if i gotta replace it what do i ask the people when i buy a new one, and what do i do to get it on/off
