    Hello.
I've been attempting to install a Magic II chip on my v7 machine.

All the points didn't cause too much of a problem after reading charlie_ps2's install guide, with the exception of the following points.

    3.3V
    5V
    GND

All three of these points involve the thicker 22awg wires. I can barely tell if there even is a conducting surface on these things. I've tried applying flux to the surfaces but the solder just doesn't want to bond.
Can someone provide some advice on soldering these points?

    Someone please help!
I now have all the points soldered except for the 5V, 3.3V, and GND points.
No matter how hard I try, the solder just doesn't seem to flow onto the points smoothly.

Are there any specifications for these power wires?
I am thinking about trying little bit thinner wire (possibly 23 or 24 awg) for these points.
Would there be any problems if I do this?

The reason I'm asking is because the solder doesn't even flow on these thick wires.
