    I've a SCPH-39006 (NTSC/J) model and is wondering what version is this (v8??). Secondly, which is the best modchip I can install on this system?

    none bassicaly, but if you had to choose it would be DMS3, since it might be able to be updated.

    none really, but the best choice would be DMS3 because a flash upgradable fix might come out.

    From I gathered, the new DMS3 is still buggy especially with the v7 or v8 model.
