Hey guys, long time no posting!!!

Recently I had to replace the lens on my PS2. Following alll of the tutorials I could find, I got to do it.

Now my problem is the following, before my old lens died, I could boot just about everything --- sometimes with more than 1 try ---

Now with tht new lens I have been able to boot the following:
Original PS2 game --- yes
CDR -- yes
backup PS1 game -- yes

Original Import --- no
HK Silver --- no
DVDR --- no

Right now I have a DMS3 chip that I bought before my lens died.

Now for the question at hand, should I try to adjust the pots without changing the modchip, or should I change the chip and see what happens.

What do you guys think?
