All the release dates might not be correct or even official yet, but if gives you the idea of the games I'm interested in. I won't be able to afford all of them, I'll likely pick up 8-10 of them, and I definitely want to back them up, with my little cousins always around, and they tend too like a lot of the PS2 games. I would prefer if they played with the backup's instead of the originals due to carelessness. They range from 7-14 in age.
So, with that said, is the Matrix Infinity a reliable choice in a chip? With sort of brand of DVD-R should I go with. I'm currently using Sony DVD-R, only picked up a small pack to backup a few of my movies.
Also, when backing up a PS2 game, does the DVDdecrypter work well, or should I go another route? Any PS2 games copy protected?
The Matrix Infinity is a GREAT choice. Best chip out right now in my opinion.
You should buy Ritek G04 DVD-R and burn them at 2x.
DVD Decrypter is a great tool and it's what I personally use as well.
Not sure if PS2 games are copy protected or not. None of the games I backuped had problems with DVD Decrypter.
By the way, shouldn't have wasted all that time listing the games for no reason lol.
Good luck on your modchip installation, careful or you'll break it.
