Which chip is in this PS2 ?? ts a 30004R model bought from Lik Sang a while ago

I am connecting it to ps2 online

is this a bad idea ?? how does the chip work as in enabling it

Thats a messia1 ,you must have bought it from lik sang a long long time ago becouse they dont do chips enay more.

I use to use them a long time ago they were okay in its day ,it had some compatebelety issues with newer mechines V5/6 but it was still a fair chip.

Ps2 games(dvd's and cd's): Direct boot
Psone and DVD movies: Tap reset twice when the mechine is on and the disc is in the tray.

My Ps2 still runs it's Messiah 2 with no problems at all. Must be 3 years of uninterrupted service. Although my PS2 only gets used for exclusive games now.

With Messiah 1, you need to double tap reset for PS1/DVD movies.
