    I have a ps2 v3 with a spin problem. I try two differents lens and the disc dont spin after i close the tray. anyone know the problem? the ba chip on v3 are on lens. (no ba problem) thanks a lot.

    In first time a change the z resistor pack because the z point are burned. With this resistor burned the tray dont close. now the tray open and close perfectly but the disc no spin. The lens sometimes do a red light.

    There is a fuse around the ba chip. Does it work? If it does, check the CD/DVD controler IC legs for shorts!

    the ba chip is on lens module, i try with two differents lens module and the same. I try the lens in another v3 motherboard and work.No shorts on cd/dvd controler.
