my ps2 broke. what version should I get?

My ps2 broke one day, so I sold it on ebay. I want to get a used ps2 from electronics boutique. I will probabaly be able to look through all the used ps2s in the store to find the "best one", because my friend is the manager.

What version of the PS2 should I be looking for? I want to put a Matrix Infinity in it.

will it say that on the back of the PS2? if I cant get that one what should I be looking for? is it pretty much the newest ps2's are the best?
