Sony media is good. I have used it on the infinity firmware. I recommend using burnatonce for burning bin/cue files. Extract the bin/cue files then burn the cue files using burnatonce and burn it at 4 to 8x speeds. You can get burnatonce by using a google search. It's a great free burning program btw. I hope this helps.

It's hard to believe that Verbatim didn't work for you. Give us more details about your PS2. Could it be that your laser is worn or something?

Many Verbatims are fake, and work much worse than the general avarage quality noname disks. I think the best Verbatims were the ones with blue dye, these new ones made in India are crap.

I've had bad experiences getting consoles to read the really light blue/greenish dyes, but the darker blue mostly seem to work well.

    Never use Memorex(especially their DVD-R!).

Agree, though these are the ones you can buy these days. They are cheaper to produce and all are for a short lifetime
