Muppet Chip Drama! –
08-07-2005,03:10 PM
Ok i swear i have searched every corner of the inernet to find some damm information about the Muppet V12 Chip for slimline PSTWO.
The console Will refuse to boot any PSX Originals or Backups even with the mod-chip off feature. It works fine for PS2 Backups/Originals and i can run DVD Movies by using the mod-chip off feature. Ive checked ALL the solder points connections ETC... on the chip. Im not sure if this is a common problem or its just because the MUPPET Chip is a pile of S&*T!!!
Any help would be appreciated.

Magic V and above chips are notoriously fussy with wiring size, length and chip placement. Same goes for their clones, of course. Once installation is properly sorted out, they are decent chips.
