About LinkBacksOnly just heard/read about this puppy today... then got the ******* newsletter with the following:
"PS2 Muppet Chip: 100% safe modchip on PStwo V12
The Muppet chip is a new chip that has been tested in depth to be
100% safe for the PStwo laser lens. It is compatible with V9 to v12
consoles, and beside the safety, it comes with a low price tag
making it a sure seller on PStwo."
Kinda intrigued by the '100% safe' comment... possible? Can a chip be so "tested in depth" to guarantee that the mechacon will NEVER EVER lock up?

Looks like a clone of China-Magic's MagicV KX. China-Magic makes the claim of not burning the lens.
