    Mounting Tape:
I noticed in some of your modchip install photos that you guys are using somekind of double sided tape. It seems thick, so I guess it comes in strips instead of roles. Where did you guys get this stuff, I couldn't even find regular double sided tape ^^.

I used somekind of super glue before, but after inspecting my work later on I noticed that glue didn't like heat and therefore become loose from the IC's I glued the wires to. That sux since now I gotta be carefull with bumping the PS2 since those solder points on the DVD IC's legs are very fragile.

    Flux:
Okay back when I did my last mod install I was using somekind of flux pen, which I used up a long time ago. Only flux I can find now comes in a little jar, I added a link below. Is this still good to apply on solder pads/ic legs after scratching, maybe with a Q-tip cotton swab?

    1. I got some scotch doubled sided tape. It's thin and sticky. Perfect for this type of mounting. The foam tape is too thick.

    2. Use a toothpick to apply flux.
