Is V4 machine the hardest to mod? I saw all those VIA hole that you need to make connection to?
Then, is V1-3 very hard as compared to a V5/6? cuz I saw you'll need to solder some legs that are smaller than the one you'd need to solder on a V5/6

It's in my opinion much harder to solder to a v3/v4 than a v5/v6.

i'd have to say V1-3 is the hardest. especially on the cd/dvd controller chip. all other connections are easy.

Yes they are, mainly because of the DVD Points. They are extremely small on v1-4 PS2s and are really only for Pros, v5-7 PS2s are sunstantialy easier but still hard.
Yeah, then try and get the power daughter board unsoldered. By the time you are done, you'll have wanted to rip the board off.
Damn those pesky SCEx points!
