I modded my ps2 years ago with a old magic 2 clone..game stopped in the middle when playing BurnOut3(w/ HDD)..after that the console won't even boot (green light but nothing on the screen and no sound) and DVD doesn't turn...all solder points are good, not sure what I can do..
What would be a possible cause? is the ps2 burned?

thanks for replying...I think the power supply is working alright...the fuse is okay and when I tap the power button on the console, it turns from red light to a steady green light..

chip broken or cable failure?
maybe a bad soldering which turned worse over time.
or a cable came loose.

not sure if the chip is broken..I'll try to unsolder and find out about that...I have vertify solder points... they are still good and so are the cables...
