Modchip suggestions

Ok, I just got a ps2, its version 7. Im wondering about suggestions for a modchip. I already have an xbox for all media like dvds and suchwhat, so I just want a ps2 modchip for backup games really...so I figured the magic 3.1 would do good, wat do you guys think?


Ive also never soldered before, probaly just have a friend do it, but some tutorials on modding a ps2 or some links would be useful if anyone could help :)

Try to search the forum.It does have the same question answered about 5 times and it does also have tutorials and scematics..

I would recommend the Duo2SE it is a good buy if you just want to play backups and its inexpensive. I hope this helps.
