Which modchip should I get?

I'm looking for a modchip but I don't know what to get. I would like one that can do ps1/ps2/dvd imports/backups and able to play original copies of online games. Anyone know what happens when the online games detect you're using a modchip?

The Duo 2 SE looks good and isn't expensive, do I need anything other than soldering iron and reel of solder to install the modchip? The matrix one looks complicated, do you need a coated wire besides the other stuff to install?

well duo/matrix have the same install pretty much. i'd go with matrix. duo is a rip of ice code. I'm not sure either of these chips can be used online and must be turned off in order to go online

You need flux, 30 guage wire, 22 guage wire, desoldering braid, and wire stripper (or you can use your iron to burn the plastic). Yeah it can add up to more than $50. If you're gonna do one mod, just send it to someone and have it installed and save yourself the trouble. By the way you can get all this stuff at radioshack.
