Modchip Problem
Modchip Problem –

I recently installed an apple chip to my US v7. It was working perfect but today when i put SOCOM in, it stopped loading during the game. I reset the system and then is wouldnt read any disks. So i shut it off and when i turned it back on it asked for the language and timezone like if was brand new. Then it still wouldnt load the game. Now if i turn it on the screen is just black and you can just reset or you can press eject which has only ejected the tray once after several tries. I Wondering if there is anything to fix the problem or what it could be. Thanks.

Usual questions - what wire did you use for GND/5v? Has something come adrift? Did you catch the RESET/EJECT cable in one of the screws which has worked its way through?
You need to take a look see.

i got the system working now and it wasn't loading anything, i could go to the browser screen and it would just say reading disc. Now i just started it again and it read the game but was loading really slow and after the loading screen it just went black and now it sounds like the disc is being read and but nothing happens.
Today i opened up the system and just moved 2 wires that looked like they may have been bridged and it is working now, so hopefully it will keep workin. Thanks for your advice charlie
