modChip installtion problom

i have a mod chip
and I don't know how to install it.
My ps2 version is 30003

dont let the expert do it for you .

go to youtube and do a search for soldering basics. make sure that you know the exact type of modchip because you will need to google for the proper diagrams. you can also start here, http://sksapps.com/index.php?page=modchips.html

without any exceptions you will need a 15 watt soldering iron & station, solder (lead-free), flux paste, desoldering braid, 30awg kynar wire, and absolute care. radioshack and home depot are good places to shop.

i have a cristal(bad spell) , matrix mod chip
and on it write V1.99
and i don't know about v4 and another versions of
my ps2.

you need to clarify the info that you wrote in your recent post because it is confusing :chinscrat.

1. you need to distinguish the type of chip that you have. is your modchip a genuine matrix infinity (or clone??) or do you have a crystal chip?

2. which model and region is your console (scph-xxxxxx)? do you have an NTSC-U (U.S.), NTSC-J (Japanese), or a PAL (european or so)??

3. use the info that i provided you with in my earlier post.

I think you are wrong, because 30003 is PAL UK version.In Japan they have NTSC-J

in the back of my ps2 is this information:

I really don't think you know what you have. You've bounced around with so much that it's impossible to help you. Please list the facts exactly as it is on the label. you haven't been able to do so yet. SCPH-3000 is an invalid PS2 model.

also, you need to stop creating so many threads. work on one issue at a time.
