Modchip that does not require to hold buttons to boot

Is there a modchip that does not require any buttons to be held upon boot? I mean, u throw in a movie/ps2dvd/psx cd and it recognises it automatically without having the user to switch to the right mode? And what about booting from browser?

The Matrix INFINITY chip is supposed to do this but it's not out yet.

I think Matrix MXL 2 does that.

Nah, you have to hold reset for PS1 games with the MXL2.

No, the MXL2 does not do it, the infinity should do it.
