Oh no, it's definatly different, as i said the CDVD points are different, even the points around the bios is different, the resistor banks between the CDVD vias and the chip above it are gone, sony's fix is on the top and the bottom of the board...

I will take a few pictures tonight and post them... But once again, does anyone have pics of alt CDVD points prefferably on the controller for the V12/V13...

No, it's not, but i think i may have a short on the controller, i am going to redo it this evening... I can disable and play origionals, but not upgrade disk(i can also say no backups, 'cause it isn't flashed yet)... But this isn't the thread for that...

See the difference of the board though? But all the points are in the same location just layed out different(see the slightly tinned points)...

Here are the CDVD connections from left to right...
    A(MI) or O(DMS)
    T(DMS)-RW
    B(MI) or P(DMS)
    I(MI) or W(DMS)
    G(MI) or U(DMS)
    H(MI)
Now i can't say that this is 100% but it is what i have been able to find based on other version CDDVD controller diagrams, i have been able to trace them to the mobo off the controller, but i haven't been able to get a chip to work, i have tried two DM$4 pro's and 2 MI's, no luck so far. I can disable the DM$, and all i get from the MI is black screen until i disconnect the RST.

As i said before the Bios points all seem to be connected the same as V12, Y For MI is the same as previous, Q for DM$ is the same as the V12, and scex is the same as V12 for both.

I assume that Sony has done some upgrading of the software, 'cause i can't see a reason for the chips not to work, except for the software(kinda like when the 1.6 xbox came out)... And once again, don't quote me on that it could be just the blue dot MI's i have.

*I have removed the images as i don't know 100% that they are acurate... Sorry if they confused or anything of that matter...*
