Modchip.ca is selling "CLONES"...confirmed

a few month ago i posted a thread about modchip.ca was selling clone magic V modchips

now they are busted for selling clone xbox modchip (and to think they "were" the official reseller of Xenium modchip).... and what is to say they didn't use the same psychology about the other chips that they "Officially" sells?

i am sure modchip.ca will come out and say they had no idea that the stock they got was clones but then again OzXodus distribute their own products directly and when you get a quote that is way cheaper then the quote from the official manufacture then you KNOW you are getting clones .....i have nothing against modchip.ca ....just thought any potential canadian buyer should know.

Well... looks like they are stating in their site that they are buying from "another new factory" and they are giving some very stupid reasons to justify it.

Truth is that the are probably buying crappy fake becouse of price.

This is so Lame....
What's going on with all the respected sites?
There was a time you could trust them, and they made a LOT of money becouse of the trust the we (customers) had in them.

You can't really trust anyone anymore.

Arrrrrrr, Modchips.ca just be the middle man. If'n their supplier sent 'em fakes...it's not Modchip.ca's fault. Give the fellas a break already. If ya don't like a particular vendor, don't do business with 'em. Over the past 2 years though Modchips.ca has one of the best reputations of any of the big chip retailers out there so they have. Nobody can be 100% perfect....

Lol, this is SO priceless, the company that tell everyone how to spot clones in order to sell their ''genuine'' chips at an higher price is caught selling clones

The bought fake OzXodus willingly from "another new factory", like if there could be more than one original manufacturer.....

It do agree with Cpt. But Chris always has a area of his website where he explains what a "FAKE" modchip looks like. So it is hard to believe that modchip.ca would stoop to this level. No I'm not saying it is his fault but with his knowledge of this type of situationI find it hard to believe that he didn't know. If he was having money problems he should have just lowered his prices.

i think they took the statement off the modchip.ca web site...after all it is not very smart to tell the potential customers that they sell clones....

FRAUDSTERS EXPOSED ! MODCHIP.CA no longer official Xenium resellers.

It has come to our attention that people are confused as to exactly what is happening regarding certain so called "respectable" sites selling fake chips. We had said earlier that we did not want to start a war with cloners and scam artists and for the main part that is still true BUT, when a supposed official reseller of ours starts to sell fake chips and tries to pass them off as authentic Xeniums we cannot and will not just sit back and keep quiet. It is one thing to openly sell "clones" but when you intentionally pass off fake chips as originals you are not only a blatant thief but a fraud and a downright criminal.

MODCHIP.CA is one such site and is the first that we have verified as a fraud. We can confirm that they did have original stock bought from us officially but they have not since re-ordered from us and are therefore willingly and knowingly selling "fakes" and passing them off as originals. WE WILL NOT ALLOW THIS and are extremely angry and disgusted at the audacity and cheek of such criminals to defraud you. What disgusts us is that these greedy, money hungry, thieves will go so far as to LIE to you and claim total innocence as if they did not know what they were buying. THAT IS IMPOSSIBLE. What really makes us wonder is how many other times this has been done by these thieves or how many other products they are passing off as "originals" to unsuspecting customers? (is anything sold by these guys authentic?) Fraud is a serious and punishable offence and we cannot sit back and let it continue.

We apologise for this long post but ENOUGH IS ENOUGH. We urge all of you that have bought any fakes to report to us immediately and we will assist you in any way we can. Claim your money back and refuse any exchange. We will direct you to a proper and professional business. We WILL NOT SUPPLY these guys any more and until WE SAY SO, they will NEVER stock official OzXodus products. We do not and will not support FRAUDSTERS!!
