did anyone checked if it's actully working on v7-v16?
i know lots of modbo have problems running on version lover then 9
It does not work with v14+ because it's not the latest firmware.
I didn't test it yet but I got this mail dirctly from Modbo makers cause as they told me the one with white pcb which called v2.0 is not made by them..
Only v 1.0 green pcb and v 1.2 blue pcb made by modbo team and now v 3.0 officaly from them.
Strange to see that the Modbo 2.0 actually has a site up saying that there chip is real and Modbo 3.0 is fake. They also managed to replace the Infinity 1.54 logo with MODBO 2.1 instead.

Tested the Modbo 3.0 on 4 version 9 and 5 version 10 systems with no problem, i like this pcb layout better than previous revisions ... unfortunately got problematic response with 1 version 7, boot rate was very very low... had to switch power off from behind the system then turn back on in order for the chip to boot ... at least it didnt fry the board like 1.1 and 1.2.
They also added an extra point ( CX ) i guess for better stabilty.
Did anybody test it on v12 or v13.
sound good.Originally Posted by Zero_Z
where you got samples from?
please check on version 3, 13,14.
thank you
Does all the 1.54 features work correctly? such as the config screen?
where does the CX point go to?
Version 3 surprisingly worked ... just hated having to go below the board to get that damn SCEX and CX point. Also had success with version 13 ... Would not waste my time with the 14, i think matrix only officially supported the 14 on firmware 1.68. A friend/installer told me that the MODBO 3.0 was really geared for only 7-12 (dont know how he came across that info) ...
I love the mars chips for 12-14.
it is stated to work on v7-v13!!! how can it be that it wored for you on v13???Originally Posted by Zero_Z
