modbo 760 v5 refuses to work
modbo 760 v5 refuses to work –
I've been battling with a v5 for the past two days, it get along with a modbo 760. I can access the config menu of the chip, it says modbo under the playstaion logo when I throw originals in, but when I insert a backup, I get teh red screen of death. DVD movies of the same disk brand work fine, so it's not the DVDs. I have completely removed the chip, reinstalled the chip, replaced the chip with another, I've tried the matrix infinity diagrams (they have less wires, and Y and 3.3v are in different places) and still no dice. I have installed around 6-8 chips in my life, so I have an idea of what I'm doing. Ay ideas? Cause I don't......
Sounds like the chip is working if you can enter config and get modbo to show under the playstation logo. It is either your DVD solder points from your install, the media you are using, or the method you are copying games.
The media/games works in my ps2(this is my friends). Possible to be the dvd points, which are they, though to be honest all the points look damn good to me.
