People please help me... I don't have any more modbo 760 chips and on my last chip my V point broke and now after installation I get a black picture...
If anyone has one chip and if you can find and send me a picture of an alternate point for soldering the V point I would be very grateful. Its an emergency people pleeeeasseeee help... the V point is broken on the chip not on the ps2 board.

You can buy one on fadbus(dotttt)com for 3.12$ free shipping. (pardon me but forum rules forbid me to post link if I haven't posted 30 times...
Bought mine from there and it works good. I highly doubt of the emergency state of your request as it is only a game console lol. If your chip isn't quicksoldered on your ps2 motherboard (you are using wires for all the points) you coud swap the modchips. You can certainly spare a 3.12$ for this.
Please provide a picture of your installation to see the extend of the damage.
The V point signal runs on the back side of the modchip board straight to one of the leg of the main IC ( the QFP one). I'll look which leg it is once I have some time. But look at the pitch of the legs on this chip, do you think you will be able to solder a wire on a single leg without shorting any of the surrounding ones?

Yes I think i could do that, just tell me where to solder... It is an emergency because the PS2 isn't mine and it should be a gift for a birthday so
I already have new chips "mars pro gm-816hd" i just want to finish with the modbo chip, because everything is soldered except the V point. And the damage is only on the point, it came off because i forgot my solder too hot for the chip, previously i was working on a phone
. Please if you can post me a picture, so I can finished it.
Thank you, very much....
