Modbo 760 - Load import games from HD?

Hi

I need a chip that can moddes to load games from HDD (Like the Crystal chip can)

Can I do that with modbo 760 ? it's 3 times cheaper than eg. Crystal.

Search for "Free McBoot". ---> costs nothing (except maybe postage)
For what you want to do, you didn't need a chip at all.

Also without "Swap Magic" ?

Reason I want to boot from my HD, is that my drive in my PS2, isen't very good anymore.
Therefor I will have to boot up direct, without swap tricks etc.

Like the name "Free McBoot" implies, is it a free software, which boots from MC (just plug in the MC).
You don't need a laser at all in your PS2 and also n SwapMagic.
You only need a way to install it to MC.

Used 3 hour on this now.

I constantly get the message "no BOOT.ELF to install. continue anyway?"

I followed the install guide, and im installing via CD (Don't think the PS2 will read my 8gb USB stick, nothing is happening though)

I got FREE_MCBOOT.ELF in the root of the cd.
BOOT.ELF, ESR.ELF, HDLOADER.ELF and the 4 folders in a INSTALL folder.

This shoud be right?
