Just got a Modbo 760... not sure whether to install it or just ignore it.

If I solder directly to the BIOS points do I need to insulate the back of the board or does it just go on flat?

Is soldering it down easier than doing a wire at a time? It seems you need to get it exactly lined up or else it won't work.

What is the trick... do you place it and then flow solder down the notches or do you tin it and then reheat when in place?

    TIA,

    DT

If you have a V12 nad up just solder it directly to the bios pionts(thin and reheat works best) and add the wires normally (Y,S,B,I,H,G,3V and RST) for W just follow the trace from the bios piont to a small via right on top almost of the bios points and solder to that, that is the quickest way,for V10 and V9 solder with wires normally see my sig for details...

So... fibreglass pencil on all the points, tin the points and then squash the modbo on top and go around reheating?

If you are using good quality solder you only need fibreglass pencil on B,H,G,I when reheating add a little bit of extra solder to bridge the connection nicely...
