Modbo 760 , the good and the bad

after going thru a batch of 760 , 100 of these , i like and hate these things.

The Bad :

Some chips make the machine output a high pitch sound when ps2 is on
Some chips dont work ( bad solder around the main ic)
Some chips have bad boot rates ( bad crystal )
hard to remove once installed

The good :

When they work well they are great
Very easy to install
nice and small and slim chip
no returns

Conclusion :

Im going to try another chip till modbo team can sort out their poor manufacturing

where did you bring this BS from?

I've sold and install more of 800 pcs on the last order. the chips are so good that i have sold them all out on the first week and have big demand and the suplier is out of stock of ics.

where did you bring this BS from? a commic book

BTW: it took me few seconds to get it out , very easy. all you need is to learn how to work with soldering breed.

High pitch noise? I never had a problem with that. Hard to remove? Just like any other chip.
