Modbo 520/745 or Modbo 4.0
Modbo 520/745 or Modbo 4.0 –
10-12-2006,11:22 AM
i lataly installed a 520 and a 745 and was really impressed how well they proformned next to my real MI but for the next installs i was thinking of using the 4.0 because it has the origonal MI screens (i think). Can anyone tell me any bad points about the 4.0
also if i do go for the 4.0 i was thinking of getting it from here http://www.ps2cover.com/ps2-mod-chip-modbo4.shtml because i normally buy from divineo but they dont sell it and this place has a buy one get one free offer on so only $13.85 each. Are ps2covers.com a good reliable site or not

4.0 works wonders on V9+ but has compatibility problems on V8 and below on pal mechines, bad boot rates exct...
It doesnt have a crystal meaning it needs one extra wire CX but is more stable becosue of that becouse you dont get all of the "Crystal" related problems you get on other modbos(sometimes the crystal on some modbos are faulty)...

The modbo750 uses the new MI firmware 1.88 . I've used these on versions 7 and up with no problems.
