Hi, Long story short I just recently installed a v1.99 Modbo 4.0 in a V7 and Original PSX games seem to get recognized as a PS2 CD-R Blue Disc in the browser. once I click on the disc it goes back to the browser, any points i should check out besides the SCEX Point? Everything else works fine btw

    Check Y point.
Post a foto of your installation or diagram you follow.

But i think the lens is the problem.

I tried that location with my SX wire long ago with my Matrix. Works for some, didn't work for me.

here's an updated location of your install where it should be for it to work.

i rewired everything, looks like i had a few cold joints cuz im lazy and didnt tin my wires :o its not a bad chip, i was gonna get a real matrix but i doubt there are any new firmwares coming out so the modbo was alright for me, that pin is the last leg right? did you have the same problem as me. with the chip disabled psx originals boot flawlessly and quick.

the problem persists, i've did a whole reinstall with enamel coated wire, but now my PS2 will recognize original psx games fine and doesnt seem to show the PS1 Logo on boot. backups dont work no matter what i do, i have soldered the SX wire directly to the IC leg but no dice. could the capacitor be burnt out?
