    Hi all,

    I'm trying to install a Modbo 4.0 v1.99 chip on my PS2 Slim SCPH-90004 8D GH-072-42.
    I'm using this diagram: http://www.brisbane-mods-brisbane-mo...-GH-072-42.jpg

However, I'm confused about where I should connect the 3.3V and GND from the chip to the PS2. The diagram shows I should connect VCC to a piece on the board with "202" on it at the location PS14. However, on my PS2 that area looks a bit different and on the place where "202" should be there is a piece with "50" on it.

Should I connect the GND point on the chip to both GND points on the PS2 as indicated by the diagram?

Sorry if any of the above sounded confusing, I can take a picture if necessary. I don't know much about the technical aspects I just know how to solder a little bit .

vcc hookup - yes solder it onto the end of the cap with the 202 on it.
gnd hookup - you can use one or the other. doesn't matter. just use one only though.

Thanks, but the problem I have is that the area indicated in the picture with the cap with 202 on it looks different on my PS2. There is no cap with 202 on it there but there is a cap with 50 on it next to the PS14 text. Should I just use that cap instead?
