Modbo 4.0 troubles..

I'm not sure if this is the place to ask, I'm new here.
I have a Modbo 4.0 and a PS2 slim silver 79001.
It booted backups fine, then it stopped, then it started again. Then it stopped and is currently unplugged to see if it will work when I plug it back in (Like the last time it started working again, I had it packed away) Anyways. It seems the problem starts after trying to use Codebreaker v10. I haven't touched the settings either. But I did when it was working and it continued to work.
When it's not booting backups, holding triangle and circle when turning it on I get to the Settings Menu, and if I enable Fast Boot it sticks at the "Matrix" logo.
Otherwise in the browser I get the red screen that says "Please insert Playstation 2 formatted software"

Any ideas of what might be wrong?

EDIT: I got fed up and left it unplugged over night, hooked it back up this morning and it's working again.
I tried two backups, the first one worked, the second didn't, then the first one stopped working... I'm starting to think something is wrong with the chip.
And another note. It boots every single PSX game I throw at it without fail so far. even ones burnt to a cheap dollar store cdr.

check your installtion and have u connected all of the cd/dvd points even if its a pal (need to with modbo). then if not them, try another chip to see if it was faulty or your installion

It was professionally installed, I purchased it pre-modded. I'm no good with a soldering iron :P

But the funny thing is.. it's working absolutely fine, I put in a game it boots, if I wait for the icon to appear in the Browser then put in a different disc sometimes it won't read it, but if I reset it works fine.

Now, Codebreaker v10 seems to be the culprit, after trying to use it on 3 occasions the PS2 stopped reading PS2 backups (PSX always detects, even without a reset) If I unplug my system for about 30mins or more then use it again it works fine. So maybe some of the code Codebreaker injects into memory is messing with the Modbo 4.0.

I've yet to figure out how to cheat on games with this chip. So if anyone has any info regarding that, help is greatly appreciated.
