Modbo 4.0 not reading backups?

Hello. I just finished installing a Modbo 4.0 chip from modchipcentral.com, in my silver SCPH-7701 PS2 slim, but it's not reading backups.

The chip flashes "Matrix" (1.93) at boot up and then the PS2's browser comes up like normal. I can put in an original/real game disc and it will run just fine. Holding Trianlge + Circle when powering on the console, I can access the chip's menu and save changes just fine.

However, when I put in a backup and turn the console on, it will pause at the browser for a few seconds then displays "Disc could not be read".

Also to note:

1)I burned two different games so far using two different pieces of software. One is Img Burn and the second is DVD Decrypter.

2)The media I used were DVD+R.

3)I don't have any CDR's at the moment to test PSX backups. I'll probably pick some up tomorrow.

If you think it's a wire that I didn't solder probably and if you know which wire it might be by it's "letter", could you tell me the letter?

Which dvd-brand are you using?
+R work on your PS2, but still it is recommented to booktype them to DVD-ROM.
