modbo 2.0 compatible with v4 usa?

Uh, my customer just drop his ps2 by with the modbo 2.0 and I can't seem to get it to work. I installed it and everything and I can only get originals to boot. Doesn't even boot with infinity logo on the bottom corner. It can't boot any backups. I heard that these chips have compatibility issues with v4-8. Wondering if that's the case... By the way this is a non-gap v4. Can't access infinity menu by pressing o+triangle either. What's the problem?

Also, I'm trying to see if the chip is active by not plugging in controller to see if it will take 10-20s for the screen to appear and it seems like the chip is not active cause the ps2 booted within 1-2s.

the modbo wont show the infinity logo because they changed it and you cant access the config because they stopped it being accesable. the modbo 2 wont work with most below v9 this is the main reson they made the 2.1
