Which mod-chip is best, not price sensitive.

Hello, I have a ps2 with the built-in IR and progressive play back. I'm looking for a good mod-chip that I can switch off to go online or play movies back in progressive mode. Please give me suggestions?

Infinity or DMS3 if price is not an issue... seraching will give you more options and some pros/cons aswell.

I heard that dms3 has better support concerning firmware updates than matrix infinity... I haven't tried the infinity but I guess you can't go wrong with any of 'em

Personally I suggest dms3 =)

Uhm, if I'm wrong please correct me but there are currently 2 people on the DMS3 team.

How would they achieve good firmware updates if there are only two people in the whole team? haha

What I mean is there are soooooo many questions about these two chips and no one takes the time to look...They just want the answeer right now.

Just my 2 cent.......Does anyone have any change????

TO7N I understand your point of view when you say there's only 2 people.. that's what I've heard too..

But what do you mean by ''achieve good firmware updates''?? Quality or constant updates? I you mean Quality.. how can a team of 2 cannot achieve what a team of say 10 can do.. takes more time I admit but it'll be done right? ... now if it's about frequent updates... you're right they'll probably have a hard time keeping up.. but hey.. dms still has auto-atad patching

I'm surfing the matrix team website now and the infinity doesn't seem to support that.. YET .. they'll surely add this someday.. If they add it I might just change my modchip

caus from the site the matrix infinity sounds like a very good chip!
