MI v4 wont boot, turns on, tray wont eject –
I just installed my MI green dot and I put my ps2 back together enough so that I can test it out. When I turn on the ps2, the green light comes on. The TV flashes to black like its getting some kind of blank signal or something. I have a controller in the first port. Sometimes the blue light flashes sometimes it doesn't. (I think it depends on whether I turn it on using the eject or power button) When the ps2 is on, I can't eject the tray. The laser assembly moves back and forth a little when I turn it on. What is going on? I'm rechecking my soldering for the third time now.
If you have no audio/video, check the bios for bridges, thats points m,n,o,p,q,t,u,v,r,. Have you got a multimeter as bridges can be difficult to spot without one.
yeah ive checked for bridges like three times now with my multimeter and ive found none. ill check again

Here is the specific LED behavior:
On from being in standby for > 3 seconds: green light, no blue light
On from being in standby for < 3 seconds or a reset: green light, blue light solid
Pushing eject: blue light flashes for a few seconds and then is solid again

What do i need to disconnect to disable the chip to see if my ps2 is OK by itself and if the modchip is bad?
edit: i just disconnected all the wires from the chip and the board and run solder wick across the traces of the bios and the A B I H chip. The only thing left is the 3.3V cable (i cant get the solder to melt from the board) and the chip is still hotglued to the board. Still doesn't boot. same symptoms.

ive checked the bios again. between some of the pins there is a 2k -10k resistance. its not enough to make the diode detector mode of my multimeter go off (testing every pin with every adjacent pin seems OK with the detector, no beeps). is that normal?
any comments on the resistance between the pins? and what i could do to remove it? (ie: get rid of any "invisible" bridges)
i also checked all the fuses, theyre good
