Messiah2 v1 Support

The web site has stated:

* V1 USA and V2 USA support might need to be enabled when these versions become available

Does anyone know what this means? Is it going to be a different chip? Different set-up?

Just curious if anyone knows.

Send me a v1 and v2 USA and Messiah 2 will be made available for these models. It means the developers don't have one to have the Messiah 2 recognise the BIOS.

On the other hand, there is an outside chance that Messiah 2 will work with these models - it depends on BIOS layout. LOD may well try it when he gets the pre-prod but I have no authority to speak on his behalf.

I have a v2 010 bios ps2. It's missing its tray cover for the card swap. It's never been internally modified. Do you need this system ? I don't know the GH number right off hand but I can get it for you if needed. lemme know if its needed

I've asked the man if he needs to take you up on your offer. GH numbers are useful.

I have a V1 bios 010, its been modified with a neo 2.2. Wanna use my system?

The system can't have ever been modified. I don't think they can use your NEO 2.2 system, even if you take the chip out. I could be wrong, though.

Yeah, you can still put it in, but I was under the impression that they wouldn't accept one that has been modified.
