i am sure the messiah 2 will suport the 020 bios system.. ( www.messiah2.com )
it's not even out yet !! .. what good the install pics do ?? ..
more then likely over 90% of the install point will be the same as the other none swap chips.
i have a messiah 2 pro now in my hands so that's why i need install pics.
I'm worried that support is not mentioned for v1 020 yet and if it's enabled later i might have to replace the chip.
What does the actual meaning of enabling compatibility on chip mean. Would i be able to do that myself (ie different solder points) or no?

Yeah I too have a V1 020 US PS2. Been waiting for a long time for the perfect mod, messiah2, and I hope the wait was not all for nothing. Messiah team claims it'll work with all PS2's, but yeah they don't seem to mention the V1 020 specificly on their website. Still I think it'll work, V1-V3 are pretty much the same and they do mention the V3 020. I'm sure they will update their site with install diagrams any time now, then we'll see what's going on :).

Ive been having abit of trouble on one of my 020 installs. But have worked it down and should be a easy fix. But yes, it does work for the 020.
necrolop can u please post your working diagrams for 020 bios.... I can't seem to get mine to boot. What is needed for fix?
I've been using diagrmas from foundmy.com and the one posted by LOD for his working 010 version.

yhous, the diagrams at foundmy did work for my install with the m2 pro v1.08 batch 241. even the alt-clk worked out fine.
what batch do you have, its written on the main chip.
also make sure you cut the pcb as per all the discussions pointed out.
