messiah2 and gs/cb

i just got a pre-modded with this chip but when i use gs/cb it will not boot backups cd-r dvd-r even with no codes on.any1 hear of this kinda prob with this chip and or know what mite cuase this thanks for any help in advance.

So what does the PS2 do? Boot backups without GS2?

yes it boots all with out but i want to cheat

are you using codebreaker or gameshark? I've heard of this sort of problem /w codebreaker.
