    Right,
I've just had my PS2 V4 modded with messiah. When i booted it up i noticed the displayed picture had moved to the left slightly, leaving a black line down the right hand side of the screen and some of the picture missing on the left.
(Hope you can understand all that). Anyway I wanted to know if anyone knew what the problem was and how to fix it?
    Or is this normal?

    Thanks v much

OK what Connect WAS you using for your TV and are you using the same one now ??

Because my RGB scart gives me a nice central pic
BUT my Video leads i got with my PS2
Display slightly to the left leaving a border down the right side of the screen (slightly chunkier at the top than the bottom) about 1 inch or so

My advice is if your not already using RGB get one they give a Bright, sharp, and crisp display mate

OK do you know if your TV supports S-VHS coz this also is a good cable to go for but depends on your TV

I know you can get one from Lik-Sang for about £3 and a S-VHS scart converter for about £2 so if you use lik-sang on your next order try getting these?

and even if it dont work it hasn't cost you the world or anything

When my TV is in RGB mode it shifts left about 1/4 inch. But it's fine in Composite and S-Video mode.

might be worth a shot checking the options in the game you're playing as well.. all my games run nice and centred except for colin mcrae 3 for some reason, which is shifted to the right abit.. so i went into the options and re calibrated it more to the left... now just the intro screen runs off centre, but once it loads my settings of the mem card it centres itself and off i go.

    hope it helps,
    issey
