    i have a v5/v6 system. i got it chipped with m1.30. it boot every thing. when play dvd-r backups. it make a niose during play the game. i have tryed 3 backups and they all do this. this loud niose that mess up the game music and effects. what is going wrong

    Try a cleaning disc and high quality media if you aren't using it already.

    Then you probably need a cleaning disc. This is what I use.

    messiah would have the clock wire, if the installer messed it up, it would sound like your ps2 is entering the matix all wierd like that
    EDIT: i didn't see only on dvd-r backups....ummm....none of the other media types have this problem??

    probably your clock point, do you have any originals that you can shut off the chip, and see if they boot and make that noise, i'm not sure if the chip will still affect the clock signal if it is off though
