Messiah 2 Supports BIOS 090 / v8 NTSC [UPDATE 7-Feb-03]

I am pleased to report that using a 39008 / BIOS 090, Messiah 2 v1.21 works in all functions as with the upcoming v1.22.

The difference between v1.21 and the v1.22 (when released) lies in the latter's ability to work in the adverse voltage circumstances evidenced in that bad Actel 0245 wafer.

It doesn't surprise me that the true M2's would work. I'm glad I've been sticking with them only.

I wouldn't call it a v8 yet. If the other models work (I've got more to check) then it's still a v7 in my opinion. That's because it stays with the GH-022 board. I'd accept 7.1 for what my opinion is worth.

Was just about to say that myself. I tried to get 5.1 to stick to the v6 back when, didnt stick tho.

I received Messiah2 from CharliePS2 and I will try it on
SCPH 39008 v 090 bios and will post a full report about this.
