Please can someone help? maybe charlie ps2.

when i was installing a messiah 2 on a v7 (022) mother board i splashed 3 legs with solder on the chip 2 inches to the right of the point where the dvd data cable joins the motherboard, the chip just below that strange data port. It was 3 legs on the furthest side from the data port thingy.

I only realised this was the problem after i had turned it on several times after checking other connections. All connections are fine. I have removed this solder (according to the multimeter - apart from a reading of 40 ohms or something between two legs) and there is no shorts on this chip now.

but it still does not work, i am assuming i have blown a fuse but i have gone round them all and have not found one to be blown. Have i blown this chip and cooked the motherboard. I hope not!
